Oxwich Bay

Three miles of gorgeous sandy beach, Medieval Castle ruins (not one but two) and salt marshes make Oxwich an idyllic destination. It truly is one of the greatest of british beaches and hasn't been spoilt by development. At the eastern end, it joins three cliffs bay which is definitely one of the most picturesque views in all of Wales. Nicolaston woods are close by and also great to explore.

The day we visited, there were huge cockles to be collected from the sand and we took loads home for a delicious tea after a day of sandcastles and bodyboarding.
